What to pack: Lightweight, breathable clothing, a light rain jacket, sun protection and swimwear. ​
 
Winter (May to September) is generally dry, with mild, pleasant days and noticeably colder mornings and evenings.
What to pack: Warm layers are essential for game drives, including a fleece, jacket and hat. Temperatures can be surprisingly cold before sunrise; layers can then be removed as the day warms.
